Freedom Grow is an all-volunteer non-profit 501c3 organization helping cannabis prisoners regain their freedom while supporting their sacrificesthrough ’The Wish Program’. The Wish Program helps prisoners with commissary money, books, magazines, family outreach, and public education. By providing these essential resources, we aim to make a positive impact on the lives of cannabis prisoners and help them rebuild their lives.
Visions and Pathways has helped abused, neglected, homeless, missing and at-risk youth since 1970. Our kids have broken lives. Some are shattered; some have just a small crack. Some show no physical signs of damage – the scars are on the inside. We help them put the pieces back together, build their self-esteem and acquire the skills they need to thrive by providing; food, housing, counseling, education assistance, arts and recreation activities, career and employment counseling, scholarships and financial literacy instruction.
Sourland Conservancy is the only nonprofit organization ensuring the protection, promotion, and preservation of the 90-square-mile Sourland region of critical forest, grassland and wetland habitats that lies within parts of Hunterdon, Mercer and Somerset counties. Characterized by a fragile ecological balance, the Sourland Mountain region faces pressures that threaten to deplete and degrade the water and delicate ecology of the area. Team of staff, interns and volunteers have planted more than 30,000 trees in the region over the last two years, helping connect critical habitat and keeping wildlife populations healthy.
Cannabis Certified provides training for all entry level plant-touching jobs in the cannabis industry, including entry level cultivation, manufacturing, testing lab technician, and dispensary attendant jobs. But you do not need to work in the industry to take this class – it is open to the public – anyone interested in learning more about cannabis and how it interacts with the human body can sign up. All classes are open to the public and you can register for whichever class start date fits your schedule.

Neighbor to our cultivation facility, Franklin Food Bank works to increase food security by providing dignified access to nutritious food and supportive services. Through our choice pantry, community distributions, and partnerships, we help neighbors meet immediate needs while building long-term stability.
Feeding Hands has facilitated a thriving community of local businesses, churches, schools, corporations and partner organizations that collaborate in our mission to end hunger in New Jersey. With our values of Empathy and Connection, we form relationships with our guests beyond a transactional food distribution appointment. We get to witness and be a part of their transformational journey. Honored to give a helping hand in their struggles, we also share in the triumphs and testimonies of countless guests who have overcome the circumstances in their lives. Beyond the practical and basic physiological needs that Feeding Hands’ operation fulfills in the short term, over time we have seen our guests build safety and security, a sense of belonging and connection, self-esteem and even self-actualization.
